FAQS FOR LIBRARY MATERIAL PICKUP INDOORS

How do I place a request for material?  Click on MyAccount-Login on our website at www.library.cornwall.on.ca. Enter your card number and password (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number) and press login. Do a Keyword search and once you have found your material, select Place Request. Follow instructions. You will be contacted when your items are ready for pick up.

How often can I request items? As often as you like, though requests put through on consecutive days may be treated as one request.

What are my borrowing limits? The same as usual, up to 20 items out at a time, 6 DVDs, 3 videogames, etc.

Can I borrow from ILL? No.

What about fines? We will waive all fines for late materials until further notice.

If my account has overdue charges or has expired, can I still borrow material? Yes.

Can I return material? You may return material during restricted operating hours of 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, in the return chute outside only. Extended chute hours for Wednesdays, open until the next day.

Can I enter the library? Only to pick up your items at the circulation desk. The remainder of the building is closed including washrooms.

How do I get a library card? You can get your library card in person at the library.
