We will be closed on Monday, August 5 for the Civic Holiday. We reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN SERVICE IS BACK IN OPERATION.
Interlibrary loan service returns to Cornwall Public Library with the delivery of items now done through Canada Post. There may be delays in receiving items as the service resumes. In addition, some audiovisual materials may not be available for borrowing because some libraries may have opted to not lend. Please call the library for more information.
READ AND RIDE THIS SUMMER
Our TD Summer Reading Club is all set to go! The popular club for kids up to 13 years of age runs from July 2 to August 15 with great Reading Activities, Steam programs, Boredom Busters, Movies and more. We are happy to have Cornwall Transit as our partner in the program again this year by offering free bus service for participants and family. All the activities are listed in our brochure.
You can access the parking lot behind the library by way of the George Assaly Lane off of Pitt street, between Third and Second streets. Click here for map.
INTRODUCING OUR LIBRARY OF THINGS
You may now borrow “things” other than books, Dvds or games at the library. How about a portable sewing machine, virtual reality headset, even a mini robot ball! Borrowing is free. Simply enter Library of Things in the search field of our catalogue. See the “Things” pamphlet here.
