Halloween Nerf Wars: Capture the Librarian (Ages 10-14)

This program requires registration. A library card is required to register. Participation is limited to 10-14 year olds. 

Show off your Halloween costume and aim in a game of Nerf Wars: Capture the Librarian! We'll provide standard bullets and you bring your Nerf gun and safety goggles. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes but the costumes must allow for easy movement.

How to play?
Everyone will be split into 2 teams and the Librarian will be in the middle of the floor. Your goal is to capture the Librarian and bring her to your team's home base but BE CAREFUL! If you get hit, the Librarian returns to the middle of the floor! When hit, players will have to freeze and countdown slowly from 10. During those 10 seconds, the player cannot be shot and cannot shoot.

Please note:
Participants and their guardians must be on the second floor at the circulation desk by 4:50 P.M. Guardians and parents are required to be on the 2nd floor for the program. Programming Room 1 & 2 will be available for guardians and parents.
