I grew up in Eastern Ontario and lived in Cornwall, Ontario for many years. For ten years, I lived abroad in South Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates. I've spent two decades working in education and learning, and am semi-retired at 49, living life on my terms. I split my time between Cornwall and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.  I write on Medium about financial independence, lifestyle by design,  and travel. As well, I offer consulting services.
