Pride Month occurs annually in June, in memory of the Stonewall riots that took place in June of 1969 in New York City. These riots were a landmark protest for gay rights, and what has now evolved into the greater LGBTQ+ community. In order to celebrate and show our support for Pride Month, Cornwall Public Library will be hosting weekly PRIDE Craft sessions on Saturdays from 1-2 P.M. throughout the month of June. This week, we will be decorating a piece of clothing for you to Wear the Rainbow! You bring your piece of clothing and we will have fabric markers, paints, glitter, and glue for you to use.
