Lorna Foreman and Dean Swift will be presenting a seminar on Creating And Publishing Your Story.  Lorna and Dean have both written and published several books on a variety of topics.  They would like to share their experience with writing, editing and self-publishing fundamentals.  In the time available they will answer questions and offer suggestions in an effort to help you realize your dream.

Dean will take this opportunity to introduce 'The Canary Islands and Cape Verde with Lucky Linda', the latest addition to his sailing literary repertoire.

Lorna Foreman

Lorna Foreman was born in Montreal but has lived in Cornwall for over 35 years. She produced and hosted 30 x ½- hour programmes on the arts for the local Television Channel. Lorna was a journalist for over 10 years writing on the arts for two local newspapers and had a column in an Ottawa based seniors magazine “Fifty-Five Plus” for twenty-three years. Besides writing, her favourite pastime is editing for writers.

Dean Swift

Dean, a native of Cornwall, has written and published several books about his sailing adventures aboard his home-built yacht Lucky Linda, that has taken him from Cornwall to the western coast of Africa.  His intention is to round Cape Horn.  He has also written short fictions.  His self-published accounts and novels are displayed and sold at sites from Cornwall to Toronto as well as on-line.
