Come to story time at the library for some Olympic-themed stories and a fun activity. It will take place on the second floor at our alphabet carpet. All are welcome!

Join us for Family Craft Time! Kids and their families will create their own Olympic torch using simple craft materials. This fun, hands-on activity celebrates the spirit of the Olympics and provides a memorable keepsake.

Join us for a soothing and creative craft session perfect for children aged 0 to 6, accompanied by their caregivers! Inspired by the excitement of the Summer Olympics, we'll be making our own Silver & Gold Calm Bottles.

Join us on the carpet for a fun-filled puppet show story time. From classic fairy tales to the modern stories we all know and love, nothing is off-limits when imagination is involved. 

In this program, kids will unleash their creativity by designing their own Olympic uniforms using provided art supplies. This fun activity lets children imagine themselves as athletes, showcasing their unique styles and team spirit.

Divide into teams and line up at each end of a hula hoop trail. Players hop through hoops, meeting to play rock-paper-scissors when paths cross. Losers return to their line while winners continue towards the opponent's starting point.

Join us for an action-packed session where children can test their knowledge and luck with Olympic-themed bingo cards. Each bingo square is filled with Olympic words.

In this fun and interactive session, kids will dive deep into their favorite sports using a selection of awesome library books. Participants will pick a sport they love and explore fascinating facts, stories, and legends about it.

Dare to test your aim and coordination by tossing rings onto targets in this exciting Olympic-themed game. Compete with friends or challenge yourself to beat your own score!

Chess for Kids 14 and under. Learn or improve your game with chess tutor, Clifford Labre.

Join us to journal through the Olympic values. Kids will explore themes of excellence, respect, and friendship through guided journaling prompts. This reflective activity encourages personal growth and a deeper understanding of Olympic values.

Do you enjoy the New York Times Puzzles and Games such as Wordle, Connections, The Mini, and more? Join us weekly to solve these challenging games—with a twist! Each week will have new Olympic themed puzzles to solve.

Calling all young storytellers and builders aged 10 to 13 to join us for an exciting series of StoryWalk building sessions every Wednesday in August at the library!

Every third Monday of every month.

Knitters and crocheters get together for a couple of hours of socializing and doing what they love. This is not a workshop or a program. Limited space available in the room.
