Maggie Wheeler has enjoyed a diverse and successful career in communications, public relations and marketing for over 20 years. She is the contributor of the “Lost Villages” article for Historica Canada’s The Canadian Encyclopedia—the official national online resource for all things Canadian.

Jim Brownell  is a retired educator, and ended a 22 year career in municipal and provincial politics in 2011, as the MPP for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry. He is the former Honourary Colonel of the SDG Highlanders Regiment, and currently president of the Lost Villages Historical Society.
